A great way to experience genuine success is through giving of yourself. Through honesty, generosity, and respect for others, your horizons expand and thus opportunities in life .

We all know how it feels to be with someone who is more of a taker than a giver. It is uncomfortable causing you to instinctively keep a distance.

While leaving you a little vulnerable, giving of yourself is the way to form deep and meaningful relationships. Our instinct is to focus on our personal relationships but honesty and passion are also the touchstones of business relationships today.

If you are a frequent visitor of my blog, you know I appreciate the work of Chris Widener. He is a very successful business consultant, coach, speaker, and television host. He came from the school of hard knocks and could have checked out long ago. His belief system, however, will resonate with you, and I hope you benefit from  hearing his positive, insightful messages and teachings, really.

In an article entitled “Seven Things, You Must Give to Others in Order to Achieve Success,” Widener energetically lays out a case for giving without apology.

He believes that giving is more valuable in fostering trusting and successful outcomes than sophisticated sales techniques or strategies. He quotes Ed McMahon, a famous former Tonight Show personality as saying “Honesty is the single most important factor having a bearing on the final success of an individual, corporation, or product.”

Some people believe it’s a necessary evil to bend the truth a little to get ahead.  Putting the obvious aside, the trouble is that bending the truth often becomes abandoning the truth, and that is definitely a road to nowhere on so many levels.

Chris Widener didn’t need to work overtime to convince me that success is more readily attainable by showing the respect that you care, are being honest, and by an unashamed passion for what you are doing.

People like you and me want to bring our business to trustworthy people. If we were in business, this perception puts us two-thirds of the way there in establishing trust in our brand.

To embrace the belief that helping others is vital to your own success puts you on the right path. Believing it is riskier in business than it is in your personal life is a big mistake. It is a powerful foundation upon which to build something lasting.

In my business, I am entrusted by parents with their young and impressionable children to fulfill their Princess dream and bring them joy for that moment in time.

This isn’t something you can pretend to do, and It simply would not happen if taking were the priority over giving

The Princess Tea Party business is a wonderful way to make a living, but above all, it allows for the weekly practice of giving of myself the things that I know and feel are right and true.

The Princess Tea Party business is fun, flexible, and lucrative. Now, with nearly 20 years of experience, I am helping other women achieve the same joy and satisfaction I have experienced by offering my “Business in a Box.” It is the exact road map I followed to start and operate a successful business made easy for those interested in the business for themselves. No prior business experience is necessary, and no franchise fees. Learn More Here
