What comes to mind if I say “to heck with it, I’m going for it?”

It might be asking someone out, entering a marathon, applying for a job, or starting a business.

When it comes to starting a business, the lack of confidence is what stops most women. Personally, the marathon would put an end to my ambitions, but that’s just me.

For some reason, men don’t let confidence get in the way remotely as much as women do and they come out ahead for that reason alone.

Fear of failing is not confined to women. It is one of the greatest obstacles to success in life for most people, and the battle takes place right between your ears.

Understand something. There is no external force poised against you. It is the mental habit of limiting beliefs about winning and losing, and fear poised in a soldier’s stance that drives a wedge between you and realizing your wildest dreams.

And what is ironic about this? When you look back, whatever ti was you feared didn’t amount to much, and certainly wasn’t worthy of passing on opportunity.

A blind investment in the fear of failure means we miss out on so much good by giving in and not trying. What’s the worst that could happen if you tried?

There is good news when it comes to overcoming a fear of failure.

The power is yours to change the direction of your thinking to see that success is attainable, and, that you are as worthy of it as the next person.

Change the story!

There may be times you won’t achieve the picture of success you wrapped yourself in. Big deal.

The only time to call it a failure is when you don’t learn from it. It is far worse to quit on something before you get started, denying yourself a chance at success.

In a fine article on this subject, Chris Widener exposes the simple truth that failure can be absorbed into any formula for success.

Having been in business for many years there were times when my ideas didn’t pan out or promotions fell short.

In life, there will be obstacles along the way, and at times feel like it is trial by fire. They are there to be overcome not feared and to weave strength into the fabric of your business and life in general.

I’ve always felt that the only way I could fail was if I quit. Since that was not an option, pushing through to success was the only way to go.

It worked out better than I could have dreamed.

In my Princess Tea Party business, little girls come to have their birthday princess dreams come true. It is a happy place where parents are thrilled to give their children a unique and wonderful experience.

We’ve done it for nearly 20 years now, and the secret is simple. Have confidence and believe that every day you are going to make it a little better, and a little better, and a little better!.

The Princess Tea Party business is fun, flexible, and lucrative. Now, with nearly 20 years of experience, I am helping other women achieve the same joy and satisfaction I have experienced by offering my “Business in a Box.” It is the exact road map I followed to start and operate a successful business made easy for those interested in the business for themselves.
